SHARON CURRY – ROYALTON

Sharon Curry, 69, of Royalton and formerly of Sesser, died Dec. 2 at home.

Sharon was born May 28, 1943 in Franklin County, to Valley Scott and Hazel (Joiner) Scott.

She was married to Jerry Curry and he preceded her in death on Oct. 1, 2009. She worked as a homemaker.

Sharon is survived by four children: Lisa Curry, Sesser; Regina (Larry) Hammond, Sesser; Sherry Curry (Larry Kimmel), Royalton and Ronnie (Tara) Curry, Freeman Spur.

Also surviving are grandchildren Sheana Huetsch, Kyle and Erica Huetsch, Drake Curry, Derek Curry, Mason Curry, Ronnie Curry, Jared Curry, Rhiannon Curry, Riley Curry, Abbey Kimmel and Lauren Kimmel.

Sharon also leaves behind four special great-grandchildren Chase, Kross, Konner, Kenndie and a sister Jewell (Sonny Richter) of Royalton, IL

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one sister Ruth Drysdale and two brothers Raymond Scott and Jesse Scott

Sharon was a member of the Nazarene Church in Royalton, IL

A memorial service with the Rev. Dave Sorensen officiating will be held Saturday December 8, 2012 at 6 p.m. at Brayfield-Gilbert Funeral Home in Sesser. It was Mrs. Curry’s wishes to be cremated.

Visitation will be on Saturday December 8, 2012 from 3 p.m. until the time of the service at 6 p.m..
