The event runs from 12 noon until 8 p.m. and will feature live music from Zola Road, Kristin Kearns, Blue Afternoon and County Graves.  Admission is just $5 at the door – all of which will be donated to the foundation.
Area artisans Tom Horn and Mary Patterson will feature their locally-made wares on site, while magician Tim Needham will be on hand to wow the crowd throughout the day.
Food vendors on grounds will include the Brick House Grill, The Blue Boar, OpenGate Meats, Bible Grove BBQ, and of course Rustle Hill Winery.
A live auction is scheduled for Sunday evening, with donations already in hand from supportive businesses including Grand Rivers Distillery, Big Muddy Brewing, Venegoni Distributing, Peoples National Bank, and Rustle Hill Winery.   Auction items may still be donated by contacting Rustle Hill Winery manager Teri Hammond for details.
The Fowler-Bonan Foundation board of directors and co-founders Dale Fowler, of Harrisburg, and Bill Bonan II, of Benton, will man an informational booth to answer questions and promote their “Clothes for Kids” outreach.
“The Fowler-Bonan Foundation is truly elated to partner with Rustle Hill in raising funds to help less fortunate children,” Fowler said.  “We encourage everyone to come join us for a great day, and support our mission in building confidence and self esteem within our local youth.”
The foundation purchases new clothing and shoes for underprivileged children in southern Illinois, stemming from confidential referrals from area school teachers and administrators.  The foundation can be reached at 618-231-3904, by mail at PO Box 848 in Harrisburg, by e-mail at FowlerBonanFoundation@gmail.com, or on Facebook.
The “Pick of the Vine” event is open to all ages.  Rustle Hill Winery opens at 10:00, and is located at 8595 US Highway 51 N in Cobden (eight miles south of Carbondale and eight miles north of Anna).  Visit www.RustleHillWinery.com or call 618-893-2700 for more information.
