Muir’s Morning Motivational Minute

‘The strongest people aren’t always the people who win, but the people who don’t give up when they lose.’

This quote mentions people who win and lose so a lot of folks will automatically associate this with sports. Instead, I see it as a great illustration of life. Many people have the false belief that the most successful, the most influential, the wealthiest people — those who always seem to win or succeed — are the strongest.

motiv 3While there is a measure of truth in that belief, you also have to look at the strength, determination, willpower and plain old guts of those who get knocked down but refuse to stay down. Strength can certainly be measured in a variety of ways, but just like today’s offering says, many times the strongest people are those who don’t give up when they lose.’

Being defeated is only a temporary condition … giving up is what makes it permanent.

God’s blessings to you on this day! Have a great Tuesday and a blessed day!
