Obituary – Evelyn Marie Kirkpatrick – Christopher, IL

Evelyn Marie Kirkpatrick, 78, of Christopher, IL passed away at 11:35 a.m. on January 6, 2016 at Franklin Hospital, in Benton, IL.

Evelyn was born on November 21, 1937 the daughter of Adam Kiselewski and Balbena (Ciglinski) Kiselewski.

She married Kenneth Kirkpatrick and he preceded her in death on December 21, 1977.

Evelyn was a retired coal miner and worked at Inland Steel Mine and Consol Mine in Sesser.

She is survived by her children, Kathleen Kirkpatrick, of Du Quoin, IL and Francis Kirkpatrick, of Pinckneyville, IL; grandchildren Johnathan Kirkpatrick, Gideon Kirkpatrick, Jordan Kirkpatrick and Kenneth Kirkpatrick; one brother, Charles Kiselewski, of Scheller. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son Marvin Kirkpatrick, one daughter Pauline Kirkpatrick, one grandson David Kirkpatrick and one brother and one sister.

Evelyn’s wishes were to be cremated with no services.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Brayfield-Gilbert Funeral Home to help with expenses.
