quarter break 13-8, 25-20 and 43-35 on their way to the 9 point victory. Morgan Griffith led the Lady Redbirds with 32 points. She also tied for the team lead in rebounds with 7 and led the team with 5 assists and 3 steals. Griffith, who led the state in scoring last season, has now scored over 30 points in six of West Frankfort’s seven games and is averaging 36 points per game. West Frankfort’s Megan Beery had a very good game as she scored 18 points including two 3-pointers.
