Warm and humid conditions will continue into Thursday with afternoon heat indices around 100 degrees. A few thunderstorms are possible this afternoon in west Kentucky, southeast Missouri and southwest Kentucky. Better chances of showers and storms can be expected across the entire area Thursday as a cold front approaches from the north, with the best chances expected Friday as the front moves across the region.
