.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight

An isolated chance of thunderstorms exists today, mainly along or
near the Arkansas and Tennessee border counties in southeast
Missouri and southwest Kentucky. Locally heavy rain, and
lightning, will be the primary storm related hazards.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Sunday through Friday

A return of heat and humidity will appear Tuesday, and continue
through Friday, with daily heat indices peaking near or slightly
above 100 each afternoon. The only relief from this prolonged heat
will be very isolated thunderstorm chances that reappear in the
forecast toward the end of the week.
