Change is on the way. After near record warmth today in the upper half of the 80s, a cold front makes passage late tonight into early Sunday. Showers and a chance of thunderstorms accompany the front’s passage, then cooler and drier air works in for the start of the next work week. Highs in the 60s and lower 70s and lows in the 40s will make it feel more like it usually does for mid October. (National Weather Service – Paducah)
