Scott Crosson – Peoria, IL (formerly of Marion, IL)

Scott Crosson, age 61, of Peoria, IL, formerly of Marion, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at 5:38 a.m. on Sunday, July 22, 2018, in Unity Methodist Hospital of Peoria.

He was born on Friday, September 14, 1956, in Los Angeles, CA, the son of Frank and Loretta (Morgan) Crosson.

Scott’s childhood years were spent in California before his family moved back to Marion in 1965.

He attended school in Marion and was a graduate of Marion High School Class of 1974. He continued on with his education by attending at John A. Logan College of Carterville, IL and later at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL.

With a degree in Business Finance, Scott was employed with several financial service companies during his career with his last being All State Insurance of Peoria.

He is survived by his parents, Frank and Loretta Crosson of Marion; wife, Vickie Crosson of Peoria; daughter, Amy Westcott and her husband Ryan of Vechy, MO; three sons, Michael, Andrew and Jonathan Crosson all of Peoria; grandson, Colt Westcott of Vechy, MO; two sisters, Jane Crosson and her husband Bruce Stroebe of Prior Lake, MN and Diana Kozar and her husband Joe of Union, KY; brother, Dan Crosson and his wife Teddi of Waipahu, HI; two nephews, Benjamin Kozar of Union, KY and Daniel Joseph Kozar and his wife Hanna of Cleveland, TN; two great nephews, James and Pepa Kozar both of Cleveland, TN, other extended family and many friends.

Local arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson-McReynolds Funeral Home, 900 North Court Street, Marion, IL.

The visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at the funeral home.
