Jack Ray Phillips, 76, of Sesser, passed away on April 17, 2020 at his home.
He was born on February 28, 1944 in Pinckneyville, IL.
He is survived by four children: Heather Dorr and husband Erik, of Scottsdale, AZ; April Phillips and her daughter Ava Grace, of St. Louis, MO; Chase Phillips and partner Joyce Chen, and their son, August, of San Francisco, CA; and Breck Phillips of St. Louis, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John “Junior” and Geraldine “Jerri” (Miller) Phillips, and Aunt Eva Basso.
He was the owner and operator of the Sesser Monument Company in Sesser, IL.
Private family services will be held at a later date at the Maple Hill Cemetery in Sesser, IL.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Sesser, IL.
Brayfield-Gilbert Funeral Home in Sesser, IL is in charge of arrangements.
