Marie Kiselewski, 92, of Mt Vernon formerly of Sesser, IL, passed away on December 4, 2020 at Mt Vernon Healthcare.
She was born on December 18, 1927 in West Frankfort, IL to Leroy and Isabell (Isaacs) Edwards. She married Adam Kiselewski and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter Barbara Vordtriede of Mt Vernon, IL; three granddaughters LaDonna Smith of Xenia, Laura Stroud of Mt Vernon, IL and Melenie Smith of Mt Vernon, IL; five great grandchildren Amber, Travis, Megan, Katherine and Bobby and ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, four sisters Lola Bernard, Amanda Lemons, Maudie Lemons and Martha Jackson, four brothers Henry Edwards, Lewis Edwards, Clyde Edwards and George Edwards.
She was a farmer’s wife and liked working in her garden and she was a former member of the St Mary’s Catholic Church in Sesser.
Graveside services will be on Tuesday December 8, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Maple Hill Cemetery in Sesser with Brother Mark Minor officiating. Friends and family are asked to meet at the cemetery.
