Orval Andrew Hart, age 79, of Mulkeytown; passed away at 7:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at his home.
His wishes are to be cremated with no public services.
Orval was born in New Burnside, Illinois on January 21, 1942; the son of Orval Hart and Minnie (Choate) Hart. He married the former Marsha Diane Mangrum on February 12, 1971, and she survives.
Mr. Hart was a retired coal miner, having worked at Old Ben #24, U.S. Steel, and retired from Drummond Mine of Alabama in 2000. He was a member of the U.M.W.A.
He enjoyed fishing, working and tinkering on stuff, traveling across the country, and he enjoyed riding his four-wheeler.
Orval is survived by his loving wife of almost 50 years, Marsha Hart of Mulkeytown; five children: Kathy Luke and husband John of Phoenix, AZ, Terry Hart of Tuscon, AZ, William Hart of Tuscon, AZ, David Hart and wife Shawana of Carbondale, IL, Daniel Hart of Peoria, IL; twenty grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters: Imogene Bjorklund of Dyer, IN, Mary Barnes of Elkville, IL; a brother Jerry Hart of West Frankfort, IL; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son Michael Hart; a brother Jessie Hart; two infant brothers; and a sister Anna Witters.
