Laura “Jeannie” Davis, 81, of Mulkeytown, passed away on August 9, 2021 at Marshall Browning Hospital in DuQuoin.
She was born on February 21, 1940 in New Florence, MO. She married Ralph Ivan Davis on October 29, 1966 and he preceded her in death on April 4, 2016.
She is survived by her son Bill (Robin) Acord of Mulkeytown; two grandchildren Stephanie N. Acord and Ryan G. Acord and three great grandchildren Gage, Harper and Hudson.
She was the past president of the Franklin County Women’s Democratic Committee and was a former precinct committee person. She was a member of the Mulkeytown Christian Church and loved her family and friends very much.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 14, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Mulkeytown Christian Church with Rev. Kurt Jensen officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM at the church.
