Bertha Swisher, 99, of Fairview, TN, passed away on Sunday February 6, 2022.
She was born on April 28, 1922 in Franklin County, IL to James Madison and Elsie (Overturf) Darnell.
She is survived by her son Gary Swisher of Indianapolis, IN and one daughter Janet McQueen of Fairview, TN, nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Gerald Lee Swisher Sr., and two siblings Hazel Purcell and Ollie Darnell.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday February 13, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Knight Cemetery in Buckner. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home in Christopher, IL.
