Christopher man accused of killing his wife appears in court; jury trial set for Feb. 7

BENTON — The case against Brian Pheasant in the alleged 2016 murder of his wife moved forward Wednesday with a motion hearing at the Franklin County Courthouse. Pheasant, 43, was arrested last year on first-degree murder charges in the shooting death of Beth Pheasant, his wife. During the Wednesday hearing, Brian Pheasant’s attorney, Benton’s Paula Newcomb, accepted an amended order to have Pheasant fingerprinted while she is present.
