Kurt Kuhnke, 63, of Christopher, IL passed away on Monday June 28, 2021 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
He was born on October 24, 1957 in Hammond, IN to Gus “Manny” and Joan (Schuster) Kuhnke.
He is survived by an aunt, Evelyn Bean of Christopher; cousins Danny (Helen) Bean of Mulkeytown, Robin (Debbie) Bean of Christopher and Tim (Julie) Bean of Mulkeytown.
Kurt was an avid NASCAR fan, dirt track racer and a GM mechanic.
Graveside services for Kurt will be on Thursday July 1, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Miner’s Cemetery in Royalton, IL with Pastor James Penson officiating. Friends and family are asked to meet at the cemetery.
